If you've followed the news lately, you've probably seen headlines about produce recalls and investigations involving Cyclospora and other foodborne illnesses. While those investigations continue, they highlight something many people are thinking about: Where does my food come from?

At Crop Stop Farm, we've always believed that trust starts with transparency.

We grow our herbs, greens, and specialty crops right here in New Jersey. We harvest them ourselves, package them ourselves, and deliver them directly to our customers. There are no anonymous warehouses between us and your kitchen.

We know every tray, every tower, and every harvest because we grew it.

That doesn't mean local farms are immune to food safety responsibilities because every farm has a responsibility to grow and handle food carefully. What local growing does offer is a much shorter and more transparent supply chain, allowing you to know who's growing your food and where it came from.

We're also preparing for our fall growing season after a brief medical leave and can't wait to share what's comes next.

🌐 Looking Ahead

One of the projects we're most excited about is building greater transparency into local food. We're currently developing a digital record-keeping system that could one day allow customers to learn more about when and where their food was grown. It's part of our long-term vision for making local agriculture even more transparent and trustworthy.
